Yorkshire-born Billy Pearce emerged through the tough training grounds of the northern club circuit to become one of Britain’s most talented comedians.
Born in Leeds, he came to national prominence when he appeared on a talent show called New Faces in 1986. He was quickly snapped up for stage and TV appearances, including five Children's Royal Variety Shows and three Royal Variety Shows. Multi award-winning Billy loves singing, acting and dancing. He has played Roddy O'Neil in Boogie Nights and enjoyed narrating in The Rocky Horror Show, and being a Bosnian host in the musical Eurobeat with Mel Giedroyc. In 2019, Billy took to the road in the brand new comedy play Seriously Dead and performed his stand-up in clubs and cabaret around the country.
Billy recently received the Services to Arts and Entertainment Award at the Yorkshire Awards (previously won by the Kaiser Chiefs and Alan Ayckbourn). He was also awarded 'Pride of Yorkshire'.
He is very excited to be returning to Hull to perform his adult show.
