In light of the COVID-19 pandemic and recent government advice, Hull City Council and Hull Culture and Leisure have taken the difficult decision to close both Hull City Hall and Hull New Theatre to the public and will cancel all performances with immediate effect for the next three months.
Hull City Hall and Hull New Theatre is currently working in liaison with promoters of upcoming shows to seek alternative dates for their productions.
Anyone with tickets for this performance, we thank you for your patience and we will be in touch in due course.
We will be working hard to update our social media channels and website with the latest information as we continue to review the situation based on advice we receive from official bodies.
Thank you for your continued support.
“I’m a feminist but…”
The Guilty Feminist podcast has become a comedy phenomenon with over 70 million downloads since it launched in late 2015. Comedian Deborah Frances-White and her guests explore the noble goals of 21st century feminists whilst confessing the insecurities, hypocrisies and paradoxes which undermine those goals. Along with some of your favourite comedians, guests and musicians, Deborah will host this joyful celebration of how far we’ve come, and continue the conversation about what remains to be done.
“Very funny… pure, guilt-free pleasure” – The Guardian
For this special touring version of the show, we will be exploding beyond the confines of a podcast, with stand-up comedy, music, local guests and a few special surprises. These shows will NOT be released as podcasts, so the only way to see and hear everything we’ve got planned – and some things we can’t predict – is to turn up and see the show live.
Expect laughs, excitement, tears and spectacle as only The Guilty Feminist can provide.
