Be aware that a booking fee of £1.50 per ticket* is effective from 1 September 2017. This applies to tickets booked online, over the phone and in person.
Facility fee
Be aware that a facility fee of £2.50 per ticket* is effective from Monday 12 August 2024.

Hull New Theatre and Hull City Hall strive to bring the highest quality of strong, diverse well-balanced entertainment to support the local community and enhance our reputation as a world class cultural destination.
To support the ongoing operational costs of running the venues in the face of significantly increased costs, it has been necessary to introduce a facility fee.
The new facility fee is a charge of £2.50 per ticket. It is applied to all tickets purchased for events at Hull New Theatre and Hull City Hall.
The facility fee is being introduced to help cover the ongoing costs of operating, maintaining, and improving the venues to ensure the highest standards of entertainment, comfort, safety, and service for all visitors.
Ticket income is distributed to several channels including venue hirers, show producers and partners. The income generated from the facility fee will be 100% dedicated to operating, maintaining and improving the venues.
Many venues across the UK charge a facility fee or similar surcharge to cover maintenance and improvements. The £2.50 fee is in line with industry standards and ensures Hull New Theatre and Hull City Hall can continue to offer high-quality experiences.
The advertised ticket price will indicate that a facility fee applies, but the £2.50 fee will be added during the checkout process.
The facility fee applies to all ticket purchases, whether made online, by phone, or in person at the box office.
